Is it just me or does Cosmo Sheldrake sound like an old wizard’s name from Harry Potter? His parents must have foreseen him becoming a musician because I don’t think I could ever take a doctor, lawyer, or teacher named Cosmo Sheldrake seriously.

Thankfully, his music is amazing. “Rich” featuring vocals from Anna Roo is a soft-spoken indie pop track with generous amounts of upbeat whimsical beats.

The vocal samples in this are incredibly choppy, scratchy, and lo-fi. I know some might disagree, but I find it relaxing when paired with the lush beat. Love it or hate it?

Chris Kelly, from 90s rap duo Kriss Kross passed away! I used to totally jam out to “Jump” when I was young. Chris died at the young age of 34 and the cause of death has yet to be announced. How sad!
