It’s impossible to listen to Kitty Pryde and not think of Uffie. There are many similarities between the two female hip hop artists. For one, they both hit it big after posting a track that went viral on a social media website. After this Florida-based rapper’s “Okay Cupid” track became an underground hit, she started to get some attention and just released a free EP today on her Bandcamp. She was also featured in the New York Times even though she has only been on the scene a short time.
This particular track is actually a remix of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and manages to somehow be entertaining despite that fact. Hah! I greatly recommend you pick up this EP!
